Student Resources
At River Parishes Community College, we care about your success as a student. A list of services and resources is made available on the RPCC website at the following link: https://www.rpcc.edu/student-services. Additional information about resources is also provided below.
New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation serves as the starting point for integrating first-year and transfer students into the academic, cultural, and social environment of the college. It provides a comprehensive overview of campus services that support students’ educational and personal goals and helps them understand the advising process and course selection. Orientation is offered in multiple formats to accommodate student needs.
TRIO Student Support Services
The TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) Program aims to improve academic performance, retention, and graduation rates among eligible college students. Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, the program selects participants based on income, first-generation college status, and academic need. Services include academic, personal, career, and financial aid counseling, tutoring, and transfer advising. For more information, contact (225) 743-8514, apply online through the RPCC website, or visit Room 244 on the Gonzales campus.
Student Affairs Office
The Office of Student Affairs offers a variety of programs and resources to assist students in achieving their educational goals. The Office of Student Affairs is here to meet the needs of our Rougarou Community. Please do not hesitate to contact the student affairs team on your campus if you have any questions about the policies and procedures.
