Algebra/Trig-based physics: vectors, kinematics, Newton's Laws, momentum, work & energy, rotations, oscillations & waves, elasticity & equilibrium; thermodynamics. (Not intended for engineering majors)

Prerequisite(s): MATH 1223 or 1110.

PHYS 2121,  General Physics Lab II  (1 Credit Hour)  
0 lecture hours per week, 3 lab hours per week, 3 contact hours per week  
Experiments in electricity, magnetism, and light to accompany Algebra/ Trig-based physics. (Not intended for engineering majors). This course requires a lab fee.

Prerequisite(s): PHYS 2123* or 2020.

PHYS 2123,  General Physics II  (3 Credit Hours)  
3 lecture hours per week, 0 lab hours per week, 3 contact hours per week  
Electrostatics, circuits, magnetism, induction, optics, and modern physics. (Not intended for engineering majors)
