A laboratory course covering selected experiments primarily from mechanics and waves. This course is not intended for students who plan to major in one of the physical sciences and cannot be substituted for the basic laboratory course in any of these fields. This course requires a lab fee.

Prerequisite(s): PHSC 1023* or 1010.
* May be taken concurrently.

Survey of concepts in physics and physical sciences.

Prerequisite(s): MATH 1203, 1100 or 1213.

PHSC 1031,  Physical Science Lab II  (1 Credit Hour)

A laboratory course covering selected experiments, primarily from electricity and magnetism, optics, the atom, and geology. This course is not intended for students who plan to major in one of the physical sciences and cannot be substituted for one of the basic laboratory courses in any of these fields. This course requires a lab fee.

Prerequisite(s): PHSC 1033* or 1020.

PHSC 1033,  Physical Science II  (3 Credit Hours)  
3 lecture hours per week, 0 lab hours per week, 3 contact hours per week  
Additional concepts in physical science, which may include physics, chemistry, geology, astronomy, oceanography, etc.
